• Knowledge of sources of scientific knowledge about public relations
• Knowledge of the main theoretical currents in public relations, scientific monographs and specialist publications, industry organizations and scientific societies that are sources of knowledge
Skills
• Ability to search for knowledge in available scientific sources and their critical assessment
• Ability to critically read scientific texts and compare the theoretical concepts of various authors - conducting theoretical analysis for the needs of written scientific papers
Social competence
• Understanding the conditions for the development of public relations as a scientific discipline
• Understanding the principles of conducting scientific discourse on the example of texts related to public relations
• Teamwork on identifying and solving public relations problems
• Ability to present a solution resulting from teamwork
Assessment criteria
Scoring (maximum 100 points) is awarded for
• attendance - 40 points for attendance at all classes, less attendance is scored proportionally)
• assessment for work done in groups (maximum 60 points). The details of the task will be announced at the beginning of the semester.
Criteria for evaluation of group work (presentations):
1. Consistency of the answers obtained with the questions asked
2. Exhaustion of the topic, depth of analysis
3. Linguistic correctness - no spelling, word, grammar, stylistic and substantive errors
4. Visual layer - transparency, neatness, graphic attractiveness
Points are added up. The sum of points is converted into grades as follows:
0-70 points - 2
71-75 points - 3
76-80 points - 3.5
81-85 points - 4
86-90 points - 4.5
91 points and more - 5
