2. Megatrends in the global economy and their influence on production, services, logistics and supply chain management. International logistics (3 hours).
3. The importance of knowledge and the 4.0 revolution in production, services and supply chains. Advanced technologies in customer service on the example of a modern steel mill (3 hours).
4. Distribution logistics. Distribution channels and strategies. Marketing approach in production, services and supply chain management (3 hours).
5. Relations in supply chains. Building a strategic partnership based on the Vested cooperation model (3 hours).
6. Supply chain strategies. Lean and agile approach in supply chain development. Clothing industry example. Resilience of supply chains in the face of current challenges of the global economy (3 hours).
Exercises:
1. Customer service. Customer satisfaction. CIT and CSI methods. Supply logistics. ABC and XYZ methods in production management. Selection of a supplier using the point factor analysis (PFA) (3 hours).
2. Stock management in production, services and supply chains. Economic Order Quantity (EOQ) model. Operations research in logistics. Linear programming. Transportation issue (3 hours).
3. "Production and supply chain management" - logistics game (3 hours).
4. IT systems in production planning and supply chain management. MRP system. Logistics centers. Intermodal transport. The problem of a distribution center location (3 hours).
5. Project management. Basics of network and dynamic programming. CPM and PERT methods in practice. Route optimization based on Bellman's optimality principle (3 hours).
6. Issues of CSR and sustainable development in production, services and supply chain management. Demand forecasting (3 hours).

understands the impact of megatrends on production, service and supply chain management,
understands the importance of customer service and knows the basic methods of measuring customer satisfaction,
understands the importance of supply logistics, stock management and distribution in production, service and supply chain management,
understands the usefulness of economic order quantity (EOQ model),
understands the importance of marketing in production, service and supply chain management,
is aware of CSR and environmental issues on the production, service and supply chain management,
understands the importance of relations in supply chains,
knows basic supply chain strategies,
understands the importance of supply chain resilience in today's global economy,
is aware of the technological revolution and its impact on production, service and supply chain management,
understands the importance and benefits of precise demand forecasting,
SKILLS:
is able to conduct customer satisfaction surveys using CIT and CSI methods,
can use ABC and XYZ methods to optimize supply logistics and production processes,
can assess the attractiveness of individual suppliers,
is able to adapt the distribution strategy to specific types of goods and services,
knows the Vested model of relations management in supply chains,
is able to adapt the supply chain strategy to the selected product, service and market conditions,
can use basic quantitative methods to forecast demand.
OTHER COMPETENCES:
