Knowledge also covers character encoding in the binary system. The course covers the principles of operation of basic, modern IT tools (hardware and software).
The structure and basics of the operation of a computer as a set and broken down into its elements, together with their diagnosis and benchmarking are presented. Methods of computer communication with peripheral devices are described, along with an introduction to the functioning of cards that expand its capabilities.
The course also includes presenting the directions of technological development, such as work on supercomputers or quantum computers. Knowledge also includes basic issues related to network communication, such as servers and communication technologies.
The student will also learn the basics of software used in IT, such as operating systems, media editors, management support programs, basics of databases, digital communication security and utility software supporting everyday IT use.
