The course aims to develop knowledge of the Polish language culture and acquire practical skills in editing non-literary texts and small literary forms, as well as to familiarize students with the principles of Writing for the Web.

KNOWLEDGE:
1. Student knows and understands the language analysis and interpretation methods that can be applied during non-literary text editing for diverse target audience groups.
2. The student knows the issues related to the culture of the Polish language, stylistics, and Internet language communication.
3. Student knows the principles of big text editing and writing for the web.
SKILLS:
1. Student can edit and interpret chosen types of non-literary texts.
2. Student can develop her/his skills related to editing of chosen non-literary texts.
3. Student can critically analyse published text paying attention to its language correctness and stylistics.
COMPETENCES:
1. Student is aware of her/his editing competencies of chosen non-literary texts.
2. Student knows where to search for information that will enable to develop her/his editing skills.
Assessment criteria
Preparation for classes (readings), active participation in discussion as well as task assigned during classes (60%); individual work (40%).
