Cold War 2700-L-FAK-D-ZIWO
During the course, the student will learn about the most important issues related to the Cold War. Students will gain knowledge about the most important armed conflicts and political crises that took place after the end of World War II, till the collapse of the Soviet Union. Students will get to know the causes of the Cold War and its individual phases; the causes, course and consequences of the Korean war, Arab-Israeli wars, the Cuban crisis, the Vietnam War, the war in Afghanistan, as well as they will learn about the circumstances of the construction of the Berlin Wall, etc.

The student has knowledge of the most important issues concerning Cold War period.
SKILLS:
The student can characterise the most important international conflicts and political crises that took place in the years 1946-1991.
Can also define the term Cold War, give its causes and individual phases.
