Photography in Contemporary Culture 2700-L-DM-D3FWKW-FPR
The aim of the course is to provide students with knowledge on contemporary forms and applications of photography, its performance and places of publication and presentation, the meanings of the photographic image, photo content and photo systems. The course is to arise interest in different areas of photography so that the audience had the wider background when making a decision on their own photographic path.
Classes will be conducted in the form of lectures and consultations. The lecture will be profusely illustrated with examples of work from the analyzed topic

After completing the course, students:

1. know the current trends in photojournalism, advertising, scientific, artistic, amateur, family and social life
2. know the dominant themes of contemporary photography and how to implement them
3. know the photographs place of presentation and publication

1. student knows how to estimate the work in different areas of photography
2. knows how to carry out the intellectual and aesthetic analysis of the contemporary shots
3. knows how to select compatible photography space with its own workshop, capabilities, intellectual and emotional
