Learning outcomes
After completing the course, the student has basic knowledge of the mechanisms of functioning of capital markets and the capital market in Poland; the role of the stock exchange in the economy; the role of the stock exchange in financing development projects; distinguishes between market and bank financing; knows what are the advantages of being a listed company and what the process looks like with all its milestones; knows how companies communicate with investors, what groups of investors are on the stock exchange and what tools and under what legal standards this communication takes place; students are aware of the latest trends in capital markets in Europe and the place of the domestic WSE on this European market; students know the issues of non-financial reporting in the field of ESG responsibility and other good practices of companies listed on the Warsaw Stock Exchange.
