Entertainment Industry in the World - market analysis 2600-MSz2EIWMAen
The course aims to present the impact of the entertainment sector on financial markets and vice versa. The course allows students to understand how the activities of companies in the entertainment industry (film, music, video games, streaming, etc.) affect stock values, investments, risks and trends in financial markets. Financial analysis tools specific to this sector, valuation models, as well as risk management aspects related to the entertainment industry are discussed. Additionally, the course includes case studies such as the impact of movie premieres on stock exchanges or the role of large studios and streaming platforms in the global market. The aim of the course is to develop skills in interpreting financial and market data in the context of the dynamic and innovative entertainment sector.

Assessment criteria
Presentation or colloquium – to choose from. (Weight 100%). The presentation aims to present a selected case study from different perspectives of economic sciences. There is also a possibility of obtaining credit based on a colloquium consisting of 10 tasks (open, closed). Pass threshold - 50%.
