The aim of the classes is to familiarize students of the Faculty of Management with the current issues of sustainable entrepreneurship. The main topics covered in the course include:
• Conditions preceding sustainable entrepreneurship
• Differences between commercial and sustainable entrepreneurship
• New initiatives in the field of social and environmental issues/needs
• Success factors for sustainable entrepreneurship
• Models of sustainable entrepreneurship
• The impact of sustainable entrepreneurship on the environment
All issues will be analysed and illustrated with reference to current practical examples from the socio-economic environment and using the latest results of scientific research.

Upon completion of the course, the student will:
• Have knowledge of basic terms related to sustainable entrepreneurship.
• Be able to identify the determinants sustainable entrepreneurship.
• Be able to recognize different models of sustainable entrepreneurship in their country of origin.
• Have knowledge of social innovations.
• Be able to identify factors conducive to social innovations.
• Be able to recognize how social and environmental problems are transformed into entrepreneurial opportunities.
• Be able to analyse available sources of knowledge regarding social or sustainable initiatives.
• Think critically about current social and environmental issues.
