1. Rooting cultural issues for the purposes of managing people in the experience of everyday life: the role of language in the formation of cultural identity and the problem of cultural integration;
2. The essence and practice of intercultural management. Cultural relativism and management;
3. Stereotypes as the main problem of intercultural management: cognitive and discursive approach;
4. Cultural capital and social capital. Cultural capital of the workplace and its motivational importance. Work as "occupation" - "career" - "vocation" as defined by A. Wrzesnieski;
5. Models of intercultural communication; incl. the concept of G. Hofstede and Fons Trompenaars;
6. National cultures and company culture (practical exercise);
7. Organizational culture in the light of the critical trend in management (CMS).

Assessment criteria
1. Implementation of interview with an entrepreneur operating in Poland using elements of the ethnography method (research report) - 70% of the final grade regarding the ability to apply the content and reading in the practice of establishing intercultural contact and in research practice;
2. Attendance at classes (10%);
3. Active participation in class discussions based on the readings (20%).
The discussion are moderated by the teachers during the classes and through individual correspondence with students.
