in the experience of everyday life; the role of language in the formation of cultural identity; the problem of cultural integration;
2. Culture in the light of neurobiological sciences and management sciences. Evolutionary importance of the cultural heritage of mankind.
3. The essence and practice of intercultural management. Cultural relativism and management.
4. Stereotypes as the main problem of intercultural management: cognitive and discursive approach. Postcolonial thinking.
5. Cultural capital and social capital. Cultural capital of the workplace and its motivational importance. Work as "occupation" - "career" - "vocation" as defined by A. Wrzesnieski.
6. The main traditional concepts of organizational culture: organizational culture according to E. Schein, Cameron and Quinn's model of competing values, the Hofsteds' model of organizational culture and the concept of "corporate cult" by D. Arnott.
7. Constructionism in management and organizational culture as a core metaphor. Organizational culture in the light of the critical trend in management (CMS): the perspective of the practical cognitive interest and the perspective of the emancipatory interest.
8. Humanistic management as a radical "immersion" of management in culture: the essence of humanistic management, organizational imagination, the metaphor of "organization as a cathedral" (Hindeley and Sonnenburg) and its practical implications.

Assessment criteria
1. A cultural interpretation of the crime novel by Jørn Lier Horst (2015), Out of Season, transl. Skoczko, M. Sopot: Smak Slowa (in the form of a letter to the author) - 50% of the final grade regarding the students' skills in the field of analytical use of theories discussed in class and included in the reading
2. Implementation of reflective contact with a foreign entrepreneur operating in Poland using elements of the ethnography method (research report) - 50% of the final grade regarding the ability to apply the content and reading in the practice of establishing intercultural contact and in research practice
Both tasks are moderated by the teachers during the course and through individual correspondence with students. They require the use of basic, supplementary and auxiliary reading
