Advanced course of main theories of strategy: from strategic planning to Real options. Each strategic theory: planning, emergent strategies, positioning, resource based view, simple rules and Real options will be discussed in the following order: main assumptions, model, toolbox and limitations. Each of the theories is also supplemented with discussion of theories in economics or sociology that complement particular theory, eg. Agency theory, Neoinstitutionalism, Population ecology, Commitment theory, Game theory etc.

- can formulate main strategic problems of organization using appropriate methods and techniques
