Business Law 2600-MSMdz1PG
The course introduces students to the principles governing economic activity in Poland and the legal framework for the operation of businesses and commercial companies. It covers the constitutional foundations of the economic system, with particular emphasis on the social market economy, which is based on values such as economic freedom, solidarity, social dialogue, and property protection.
The course examines the legal aspects of economic activity, including the significance of the principle of economic freedom and the requirements associated with business registration.
An important component of the course focuses on commercial law companies, dividing them into partnerships (such as general partnerships, professional partnerships, limited partnerships, and limited joint-stock partnerships) and capital companies (limited liability companies, joint-stock companies, and simple joint-stock companies). Each type of company is analysed in detail, considering its legal nature, structure, and formal and registration requirements, enabling students to understand the diverse forms of conducting business activity in Poland.
