• FinTech global market development,
• characteristics of FinTech,
• examples of innovative FinTech solutions,
• map of the Polish FinTech,
• FinTech funding (including crowdfunding and issuing tokens) and FinTech risks,
• blockchain technologies, artificial intelligence, cloud, API (interfaces), Web3,
• decentralised finance (DeFi),
• Meta- and Multiverse,
• cases: e-Contribution, e-payments ZUS,
• open banking and open finance,
• legal environment in Poland, in the European Union and in the world,
• place of FinTech in the architecture of financial markets and financial system,
• systemic impact of FinTech on competition in the financial sector (banks, FinTech, BigTech in competition and cooperation nexus),
• theory of network economics, two-sided markets and industrial organisation,
• business models and their development based on Business Model Canvas,
• 4 dimensions of a business model (V4),
• value proposition, how to set up your own fintech

Student on completion of the course:
In terms of knowledge:
• Knows and understands in depth the terminology related to FinTech in the discipline of management and quality sciences and in complementary disciplines (economics and finance, legal sciences). (K_W01)
• Knows and understands in depth the principles, procedures and practices concerning FinTech. (K_W02)
• Knows and understands in depth economic theories and models relating to FinTech. (K_W03)
• Knows and understands in depth the legal regulations relating to FinTech. (K_W04)
• Knows and understands complex technological, social, political, legal, economic and environmental processes and phenomena and their impact on FinTech (K_W05)
In terms of skills:
• Can utilise the theory of the discipline of management and quality science, as well as complementary sciences (economics and finance, legal sciences), to identify, diagnose, and solve problems related to FinTech, applying the appropriate selection of sources and adapting existing or developing new methods. (K_U01)
• Can correctly interpret complex technological, social, political, legal, economic, ecological processes and phenomena and their impact on FinTech, using an appropriate selection of sources. (K_U02)
• Can independently and collaboratively prepare analyses, diagnoses and reports on complex and unusual FinTech issues and present them communicatively, also in English - using ICT tools. (K_U03)
• Is able to plan, organise and lead teamwork. (K_U04)
• Has the ability to self-educate, improve acquired skills and support others in doing so. (K_U05)
In terms of social competence:
• Is ready to evaluate and critically approach complex situations and phenomena related to FinTech (K_K01)
