K_W01 Knows and understands in an in-depth manner the research methodology and terminology within the discipline of economics and finance, as well as in complementary disciplines (management and quality sciences, legal sciences).
K_W02 Knows and understands in an in-depth manner the principles, procedures, and practices regarding financial management in organizations, accounting, management of financial institutions, and strategies of financial institutions, particularly in relation to the assessment of the macroeconomic environment and investment activity.
K_W03 Knows and understands in an in-depth manner the principles, procedures, and practices regarding financial management in organizations, accounting, management of financial institutions, and strategies of financial institutions, also in the field of investment analysis.
K_W05 Knows and understands complex technological, social, political, legal, economic, and ecological processes and phenomena and their impact on financial decisions in organizations, the functioning of organizations, and the economy as a whole, including the principles of industrial property and copyright protection.
K_U01 Can utilize the theory of the economics and finance discipline as well as complementary sciences (management and quality sciences, legal sciences) to recognize, diagnose, and solve problems related to financial decisions in an organization and the management of financial institutions, including investment activities, applying an appropriate selection of sources and adapting existing methods or developing new ones.
K_U02 Can correctly interpret complex technological, social, political, legal, economic, and ecological processes and phenomena and their impact on financial decisions (including investment decisions) in organizations, the functioning of organizations, and the economy as a whole, applying an appropriate selection of sources.

Assessment criteria
Written final exam/test (50-60 closed-ended, single-choice questions), additionally group presentations, class participation, potentially online quizzes or active participation in dedicated discussion forums on social media.
Obtaining more than 50% of the total possible points.
