Upon completion of the course, the student will demonstrate the following competencies:
• Knowledge:
o E_W01: Knows and understands the terminology and research methodology in the field of economics and finance, particularly concerning banking and insurance products and services.
o E_W02: Knows and understands economic theories and models regarding the functioning of the financial services market, including banking and insurance, and their importance for households, businesses, and the entire economy.
o E_W03: Knows and understands the economic, legal, and social processes and phenomena influencing the development and functioning of the market for banking and insurance products and services.
• Skills:
o E_U01: Can use knowledge from the field of economics and finance to analyze, diagnose, and solve problems related to the selection and use of banking and insurance products and services.
o E_U02: Can correctly interpret economic, legal, and social processes and phenomena related to the functioning of the banking and insurance services market and assess their impact on the financial decisions of households and businesses.
o E_U03: Can plan and organize their own work when preparing analyses and reports on banking and insurance products and services, and collaborate in a team to evaluate financial and insurance offers.
o E_U04: Can independently improve their knowledge of new banking and insurance products and services and enhance their qualifications in this area.

Lecture: Test (single-choice, multiple-choice), open-ended questions.
Classes: Project + test (single-choice, multiple-choice), open-ended questions.
Lecture: Total of 100 points. The final grade is based on the number of points:
• 0-50 points: Grade 2 (Fail)
• 51-60 points: Grade 3 (Pass)
• 61-70 points: Grade 3.5
• 71-80 points: Grade 4
• 81-90 points: Grade 4.5
• 91-100 points: Grade 5
Classes:
• 10% participation in class
• 70% group project
• 20% final test
Total of 100 points for tutorials. The final grade is based on the number of points:
