Learning outcomes
Upon successful completion of this course, the student will be able to:
– demonstrate an understanding of the ways of MIS development,
– identify challenges facing the development of MIS,
– analyse the relationship between MIS and organization,
– differentiate between types of demonstrate types of MIS,
– assess the possibility of implementation given type of MIS in different organizations,
– assess quality of different kind of MIS,
– interpret results of MIS evaluation for organization,
– analyse of usefulness of MIS,
– understanding of the methods of MIS evaluation and differences between them,
– identifying place and role of MIS in organizations,
– demonstrate functionality of integrated systems – case of IFS Applications
Assessment criteria
The final form of passing the exam is a one-choice test preparing at the platform eNauka, (an active student account is required in the IT infrastructure of the Faculty of Management at the University of Warsaw) and a presentation of the project carried out in groups.
To pass the course student have to obtain a minimum of 51% of the test and a positive assessment of the presentation (40% of the presentation grade + 60% of the test grade is the final grade)
Rating scale: 3 (51% -60%), 3+ (61% -70%), 4 (71% -80%), 4+ (81% -90%), 5 (91% -100%)
