The course program covers the following topics:
1. The importance of logistics in business management. Supply chain management. Concepts, goals, challenges. (1 hour).
2. Logistic customer service. Factors determining the level of customer service, basic indicators and standards. Customer satisfaction index - example (2 hours).
3. Supply logistics. Goals and basic challenges. Ways of differentiating the company's assortment (ABC and XYZ methods) (1 hour).
4. Stock management. Stocking costs. Economic order quantity - example (2 hours).
5. Production logistics on the basis of MRP system (Material Requirements Planning) - example (1 hour).
6. Distribution. Functions, intermediaries, distribution channels. Idea of Efficient Consumer Response and Quick Response. Distribution as an integrator between logistics and marketing (2 hours).
