During the classes, students will become familiar with the basic economic and legal aspects of running a business on the Internet.
The following topics will be discussed and practiced during the classes:
- available methods for evaluating websites in terms of their use and improvement
- models and types of online activity
- creating an online store – assumptions,
- conditions for creating a business model for Internet enterprises.
All issues discussed will be illustrated with practical examples adapted to the needs and specificity of the listeners.
During classes, students will be divided into groups and will participate in the evaluation of existing websites in terms of their interaction with users and the use of this process in practice in creating new websites and establishing online businesses.

in terms of knowledge:
● identifies the principles of operation and basic business models of a small enterprise in the Internet environment (S1_W02)
● lists legal regulations regarding the functioning of Internet entrepreneurship (S1_W04)
● recognizes legal and technological processes and their impact on the functioning of Internet entrepreneurship (S1_W05)
● identifies the principles of creating and developing various forms of running a business (S1_W06)
in terms of skills:
● diagnoses legal, technological and social problems related to key functions in Internet entrepreneurship (S1_U01)
● interprets the impact of website evaluation methods and the appropriate business model on the functioning of Internet entrepreneurship (S1_U02)
● designs a properly functioning website (S1_U03)
● uses available marketing tools to promote the company on the Internet (S1_U03)
● analyses in a team manner issues concerning unusual problems related to Internet entrepreneurship and presents them during classes (S1_U05)
● works in a team to carry out group projects ( S1_U07)
● supports others in the process of preparing group projects (S1 _U08)
in the field of social competences:
● assesses legal and technological phenomena related to the functioning of a small enterprise in the Internet environment (S1_K01)
● develops entrepreneurial solutions while working on group projects (S1 _K04)
Assessment criteria
Passing the course requires attendance, active participation within the classroom and projects carried out in groups, their presentation and discussion, as well as passing the colloquium.
