During the course, students will be familiarized with the basic economic and legal aspects of running a business on the Internet.
During the course, the following issues will be discussed and practiced in practice:
- available methods of assessing websites in terms of their use and improvement
- models and types of activity on the Internet
- creating an online store - assumptions,
- conditions for creating a business model of Internet enterprises.
All the issues discussed will be illustrated with practical examples tailored to the needs and specificity of the audience. During the course, students will be divided into groups and will participate in the evaluation of existing websites in terms of their interaction with users and the use of this process in the practice of creating new websites and establishing Internet companies.

The student knows the specifics of running a business on the Internet, in particular the functioning of a small online enterprise in the operational, marketing, and financial areas; understands the principles of website design and the role of online marketing tools in the relationship between the enterprise and its market environment. The student possesses advanced knowledge of legal regulations related to conducting business activities on the Internet, including the rules of operating online stores, personal data protection, consumer rights, and legal requirements for conducting online business. (S1_W04)
The student understands technological, social, economic, and legal processes related to the functioning of Internet enterprises and their impact on the development and operation of small businesses in the digital environment. (S1_W05)
The student is able to use knowledge from the fields of management, economics, and law to identify, diagnose, and solve problems related to the functioning of an online enterprise, including designing websites and developing online business models. (S1_U01)
The student is able to interpret technological, social, and economic processes occurring in the digital economy and analyze their impact on the functioning of enterprises operating on the Internet. (S1_U02)
The student is able to apply appropriate methods and tools for website analysis and use modern information and communication technologies to diagnose problems and improve the functioning of Internet enterprises. (S1_U03)
The student is able to independently and in a team prepare an analysis of the functioning of a website or an Internet-based enterprise, prepare a report, and present the results using information and communication technologies. (S1_U05)
The student is able to plan and organize individual and team work and effectively cooperate in a team while performing tasks related to the analysis and design of Internet business activities. (S1_U06)
The student is able to independently develop competencies in the field of Internet entrepreneurship by improving qualifications and expanding knowledge about new tools and technological solutions used in online business. (S1_U07)
The student is ready to critically evaluate the functioning of Internet enterprises and analyze the quality and usability of websites from the perspective of users and entrepreneurs. (S1_K01)
The student is ready to think and act in an entrepreneurial manner by identifying opportunities for creating and developing business activities on the Internet. (S1_K04)
Assessment criteria
Completion of the course requires the presence, active participation in classes and projects carried out in groups, as well as their presentation and discussion, as well as passing the test.
