2. Valuation of the cost of capital. Components of the cost of capital. Debt. Ordinary equity. Cost calculations using statistical analyses. Performance evaluation.
3. Valuation of incremental cash flows. Cash flows for different stakeholder groups: owners, lenders, all capital providers.
4. Project evaluation criteria: NPV, APV, IRR, modified internal rate of return MIRR, DPP. Accounting rate of return (ARR).
5. Multiple internal rates of return (MIRR). Unusual distributions of investment cash flows.
6. Analysis of projects for various periods of operation. Abandoning investment projects. Cash flow modification.
7. Assessment of investment decisions made under risk conditions. Decision trees.
