Learning outcomes
In terms of knowledge, the student:
• Discusses the assumptions of an organization's sustainable development and issues related to its impact on the environment, with particular emphasis on environmental issues. (reference to K_W02)
• Discusses theories and techniques of sustainable development management (reference to K_W03)
• Lists the principles and regulations of sustainable development and explain their impact on the functioning of enterprises. (reference to K_W04)
• Discusses the dilemmas of contemporary civilization related to global environmental problems and their impact on the functioning of organizations (reference to K_W05)
In terms of skills, the student:
• Analyzes and evaluate the sustainable development management practices of enterprises in terms of their environmental impact. (reference to K_U01)
• Interprets phenomena in the organization's environment and their impact on the organization's sustainable development management. (reference to K_U02)
• Prepares solutions to social and environmental problems embedded in conditions of variability and uncertainty. (reference to K_U05)
In terms of social competences, the student:
• Critically evaluates the activities of businesses and their impact on the social and environmental environment. (reference to K_K01)
• Proposes actions that benefit the community, society, or the environment, as well as actions for the common good. (reference to K_K03)
• Considers the ethical dimension of business practices in proposed solutions to business problems. (reference to K_K05),
Assessment criteria
The final grade for the course is based on the points earned for completing the assignments and the test.
Grading criteria:
0 – 59% grade 2.0
60 – 67% grade 3.0
68 – 75% grade 3.5
76 – 83% grade 4.0
84 – 91% grade 4.5
92 – 100% grade 5.0
Attendance is mandatory.
Practical placement
Internship is not required to complete the course.
