The aim of the lecture is to provide knowledge about selectedissues of social psychology, the understanding of which mayhelp in interpreting other people's behavior, group andintergroup processes and building effectiveness in socialrelations, cooperation with others or creating coherent andeffective groups/teams in professional, social and privateactivities.

Knowledge: after completing the subject, the student
• knows basic terminology in the field of social psychology
• is able to identify and reflectively interpret people's
behavior in social situations
• identifies factors or activities that promote prosocial
behavior, minimize antisocial behavior, and promote
cooperation
• understands the concepts of a social group, its structure
and group’s processes, as well as factors contributing to
group cooperation and group task effectiveness
