Term 2023Z:
The course will discuss special developmental needs in an educational context in terms of their identification and ways of satisfying them. During the course, both the definition (special development needs, special educational needs, specific educational needs) and interventions in individual cases will be presented. The course participants will learn about special needs, caused by both deficits (shortages) and talents (surpluses). Their occurrence may hinder the process of completing developmental tasks embedded in the area of education. Individualized and environmental interventions of confirmed effectiveness will be discussed. The course focuses on developing the skills to identify, plan and implement inclusive strategies for people with both typical and atypical development. |

After completing the course, the student is ready to form an opinion on learning difficulties and accompanying special developmental and educational needs in a balanced way, based on many conditions
