Learning outcomes
During the course students will obtain knowledge about several classifications of mental and behavioural disorders, including ICD-10, DSM-5, DC:0-3R and ICF, as well as current diagnostic criteria of developmental disorders, intellectual disability, behavioural and emotional disorders with onset usually occurring in childhood and adolescence. Students will learn about adverse childhood experiences and their impact on development and get to know statistics of children maltreatment in Poland. Students will get basic knowledge about different types of intervention for children with developmental disorders.
