Learning outcomes
Knowledge:
Students will learn the characteristics of the situation, particularly as pertain to cancer and family, of chronically somatically ill people.
Students will understand the characteristics of the situation of children with an oncological disease and that of their caregivers.
Students will learn how to psychologically support and psychotherapeutically work with oncology patients and their caregivers/families.
Attitudes:
Students recognize the need for an individualized approach to diagnosing the situation of oncology patients and their families.
Students can reflect on the criteria for choosing optimal methods of psychological assistance.
Skills:
Students will be able to apply psychological knowledge when interacting with oncology patients and their families.
Students will be able to choose the best methods for psychologically assisting a person or family.
