Learning outcomes
Knowledge: after the course student:
• is aware of the legal, economic and social aspects of the work-life relationship among working professionals.
• knows the role of occupational psychologist and HR specialist in work-life balance among organization employees
• knows the existing theoretical models describing work-life balance and the consequences of imbalance
Attitudes: student:
• is open to various forms of combining of several life roles, taking into account the interests of the employee and the employer
• is able to assess the impact of the development of new technologies and changes in the labor market on shaping the work-life balance
• is ready to make informed personal and professional choices in the context of their impact on work-life balance
Skills: the student can
• develop elements of the strategy of building an organizational culture friendly to WLB behavior among employees, taking into account the benefits and costs for the organization
• prepare a mediation plan in employee-organization conflict situations against a background of balance between professional and personal commitments
• apply selected strategies in the field of psychoeducation and psychological counseling in individual work with the client and focus on improving functioning in several life roles
