1. establishing project goals (including defining what is a realistic goal to achieve, familiarizing yourself with research on the impact of physical space on employee functioning)
2. defining the data sources that we need and can access or collect.
3. planning the research process, combining quantitative and qualitative methods
4. analyzing the collected data (including identifying work styles using cluster analysis, analyzing team neighborhoods using elements of network analysis, analyzing data from access control systems, using time series analysis)
5. evaluating the evidence collected, interpreting and preparing recommendations referring to the goals established at the beginning
6. creating guidelines for arrangement plans for architects

- types of influence of the physical work environment on the functioning of employees;
- principles of conducting research on the work space;
- methods of conducting research on the work space;
- methods of analyzing the results of research on the work space.

the student is able to:
- apply knowledge to plan activities supporting the functioning of employees in the work space;
- plan and conduct a study of the work environment;
- formulate realistic conclusions from the study of the work environment.

the student applies:
- acquired knowledge, maintaining an attitude of understanding and sensitivity to the well-being of the individual;
- ethical principles important when undertaking consulting and research activities.
