Learning outcomes
The student has basic knowledge on the ways of conducting conversations (contact, psychological skills, ways of conducting conversations, dealing with resistance, and feedback). The student has conducted a psychological conversation and is capable of critically assessing its course. The student can form hypotheses concerning the person they conversed with and can recognise the characteristics of the contact had with the person.
Assessment criteria
The test consists of 10 short open questions concerning psychological conversation knowledge (60% correct answers are required to pass) and the completion of an additional task - conducting a psychological conversation and writing it up. The write-up is assessed in terms of the reflections made concerning the manner of conducting the conversation and the ability to form diagnostic hypotheses (the way the conversation has been conducted is not subject to assessment). The test comprises 40% of the grade; the conversation assessment makes up the remaining 60% of the grade. Successful passing of the course – positive test grade and positive conversation write-up assessment.
