Learning outcomes
Knowledge of:
- the types of psychogenic sexual dysfunction in children, adolescents and adults.
- developmental model of the genesis of sexual dysfunction.
- diagnostic methods used in sexological practice.
- knowledge of the relation between mental and psychological and somatic functioning.
- basic methods of sexological help
- design models of preventive workshops.
Skills:
- Diagnosis skill of basic sexological difficulties.
- Sexological help methods selection to the basic problems of children, adolescents and adults.
- Design educational workshops and parental skills trainings for the prevention of sexual dysfunction.
Social competence:
- Complexity of human sexuality and the interdisciplinary nature of sexology understanding.
- Understanding impact of up to 18 non-sexual and sexual experiences on the sexuality of an adult.
- Acknowledgement of need to be aware of one's sexuality in helping patients in accordance to the principles of the Ethical and Professional Psychologist Code.
