The course is intended to prepare students for professional work with young children and their parents. During the classes, the specificity of young children's development and tools for assessing various aspects of psychomotor development will be discussed. Standard techniques for assessing children's development will be selected. We will meet at diagnostic possibilities in Poland and learn about foreign tools. Students will also consider the diagnostic limits of a psychologist and learn about the areas of work of other specialists - a pediatrician, a physiotherapist, a speech therapist. |

Learning outcomes
The student knows the specifics of infant and toddler development and the tools used to assess it. The student can apply them, knowing their advantages and disadvantages; knows the areas of competence of other specialists and is able to cooperate in an interdisciplinary team.
