Learning outcomes
Knowledge: knowledge about the AAI (including animal therapy), knowledge about species used in AAI, selection of animals, training methods. Knowledge about the importance of ethology and psychology in AAI.
Skills: assessment of the benefits and costs of using animals in AAI, the ability to choose the form of intervention for specific purposes.
The student is able to assess and improve the level of animal welfare in AAI. The student can evaluate the professionalism of intervention.
