Knowledge of development during the period of adolescence is an important part of psychological knowledge, which should be basic to all psychology graduates.

The student should:
- describe development during adolescence
- compare different concepts of youth development
- compare adolescence with childhood and adulthood
- indicate development and development-specific processes
- be able to carry out a critical analysis of the development process in adolescence
- make a comparative analysis of developmental changes in girls and boys and in relation to earlier developmental phases
