Introduction to statistics 2500-OB-08
The first part of the lecture includes measures of descriptive statistics according to a type of measurement scale, and the theory of estimation of population parameters. The second part of the course includes basics of statistical inductive reasoning, statistical error types, properties of estimators and selected limit theorems. The illustration of statistical methods will consist of: t-Student tests, r-Pearson correlation coefficient, simple regression model and chi square test.
