Prerequisites
This course is intended for 4th and 5th year students. A solid understanding of psychological theories and empirical research methods is expected.

Students must respect the principles of academic integrity. Cheating and plagiarism (including copying work from other students, internet or other sources) are serious violations that are punishable and instructors are required to report all cases to the administration.
Learning outcomes
Upon successful completion of the Empirical Insight on Romantic Relationships course, students will be able to:
• Identify and describe core empirical theories and methodological approaches used in research on romantic relationships.
• Compare and analyze how individual differences (e.g., personality, attachment, emotion regulation) influence relationship processes and outcomes.
• Critically evaluate empirical studies, including their methodological strengths and limitations.
• Interpret research findings and discuss their practical implications for psychological practice, including individual and couple therapy.
• Engage in evidence-based argumentation during class discussions and written assignments.
