1. Basic rules and regulations relating to entrepreneurs, the constitutional principle of economic freedom and its limitations, the conditions for undertaking and ways of doing business.
2. Transfer of a business, the name of the company, the principles of representation in trade, including proxy.
3 Contract law. Ways of concluding contracts, principles of securing the performance of contracts. Review of contracts most common in professional trade. Discussion of the rules on contracts with consumers.
4 Competition law. Prohibition of practices violating the collective interests of consumers, prohibition of abuse of dominant market position.
5. Partnerships and their types: general partnership, partner company, limited partnership and limited joint-stock partnership. Civil partnership.
6. Limited liability company.
7. Joint-stock company, simple joint-stock company.
8. Acquisitions, division and transformation of commercial companies.
9. Financial instruments and capital market regulations. Public company.
10. Rules on liquidation of entrepreneurs. Consequences of insolvency of entrepreneurs. Prerequisites for declaring bankruptcy and its consequences. Principles of satisfaction of creditors in the course of bankruptcy proceedings. Restructuring proceedings

Learning outcomes
Students gain knowledge of the basic concepts and institutions of commercial law, which allows them to learn about the various legal forms of conducting business and the principles of commercial transactions. They are able to secure the interests of the parties in commercial transactions and identify the risks associated with performing various roles in business, including acting as parties to a contract, representatives of entrepreneurs or members of commercial company bodies.
