Building Competencies in Communication, Collaboration, and Negotiation in the AI Era 2400-ZEWW991
The seminar focuses on competencies required for effective teamwork under conditions of accelerated digitalization, automation, and AI tool implementation. Participants learn to identify and resolve conflicts, manage cultural and generational diversity, and use advanced communication techniques in hybrid environments.
The course examines organizational structural changes, leadership roles in digital contexts, and emerging forms of tension and conflict arising from AI implementation and new business models. It incorporates psychology, transformative communication methods, NLP, and case studies of organizations undergoing digital transformation.
The course is based on a practical, workshop-based methodology ("learning by doing") involving simulations, discussions, group work, and case analyses. Evaluation is based on completed exercises, including negotiation and teamwork within simulated digital environments.
Topics covered:
Managing remote and neurodiverse teams – building collaboration in diverse and distributed teams
Negotiation techniques in the digital transformation era – preparing for organizational change discussions
Conflict resolution in business environments – managing discussions with differing interests and priorities
Awareness of conflicts of interest and their ethical dimensions, especially within digital transformation contexts
Resourceful state and rapport building – NLP and coaching practices for influence and relationship-building
The course structure and materials are based on the international Transforming Communication™ program developed by Richard Bolstad and implemented in Poland by Wellbeing Options®. Educational content draws from the original program and the experiences of Kamila Motacka, a certified Transforming Communication™ trainer (Wellbeing Options® 2022, www.wellbeing.com.pl). Although the university course follows this program's philosophy and practical approach to interpersonal communication, it has been adapted to an academic and educational context, offering students exposure to modern personal development, therapy, education, and business tools, with an option for formal certification in the future.
The instructor, a certified coach and Transforming Communication™ practitioner, brings extensive experience in soft skills development and team dynamics within business contexts, complemented by expertise in digital transformation processes. This combination ensures students not only gain practical communication tools but also understand their relevance to market challenges and digital strategies.
