Power Platform (Power Automate, Power BI) and Copilot (AI) in Business Practices 2400-SP-EXCEL-PPCPB
The goal of this course is to teach participants how to use Power Automate, Power Apps, and Power BI in their day-to-day business processes, with a focus on automating tasks using Copilot (AI). The training will focus on integrating these tools and their interoperability with other cloud-based tools, such as SharePoint, OneDrive, and Microsoft Forms, to present a comprehensive process for data analysis and workflow automation within an organization.
Course topics:
✓ Introduction to Power Platform and Copilot (AI)
Overview of Power Platform tools: Power Automate, Power Apps, Power BI. Presentation of Copilot’s capabilities in supporting work with Power Platform tools.
✓ Power Automate – Process Automation
Cloud and desktop workflows—building practical business solutions. Automating tasks with Copilot—creating and optimizing workflows.
✓ Power Apps—Building Applications
Connecting to data in the cloud. Creating forms and basic business applications. Integrating Power Apps with other tools, such as SharePoint and OneDrive.
✓ Power BI – data analysis and visualization
Creating basic reports and integrating them with other tools. Differences and similarities between Power BI and MS Excel. Power BI Service—report management, integration with data on SharePoint/OneDrive. Sharing reports via Teams, PowerPoint, and other tools.
✓ Business Case Study
Examples that apply the knowledge gained throughout the course and demonstrate the skills acquired, including creating financial management applications and the process of creating and analyzing survey results using the tools covered.

Learning outcomes
Upon completing the training, participants will be able to build and optimize workflows in Power Automate, both in the desktop and cloud versions. They will learn to create basic apps in Power Apps and integrate them with data in the cloud. Through this course, they will understand the capabilities of Power BI and the business value it brings to data analysis. They will also be able to use the Power BI Service, share reports, and integrate them with other tools, such as Teams or PowerPoint. They will learn how to use Copilot (AI) to automate processes and create solutions that support day-to-day business operations. They will understand how the integration of Power Platform tools with cloud-based tools supports business processes.
Assessment criteria
An independent assessment task to be completed by the participant upon course completion. A minimum score of 50% is required to pass.
