I. Support in the process of choosing the master thesis topic by introducing the following scope:
- Economic informatics and related disciplines,
- Modern information technologies and the possibilities of their innovative use in business,
- Use of IT tools in economics,
- Unstructured data analysis in economic research (Data Mining, Data Science, Text Mining),
- Business data analysis using modern IT tools,
- Basics of analysis and design of information systems,
- Basic aspects of IT project management,
- Possibilities of using multimedia technologies in business operations,
- The essence and significance of websites,
- Use of information technologies and innovative IT solutions in e-commerce economic practice.
II. Choosing a topic and discussing research skills. Presentation of formal and substantive requirements for the master thesis and skills required in the field public presentation.
III. Presentations of papers in the field of master theses. Presentation of students' master thesis outlines.

Learning outcomes
Upon the seminar completion, a student:
- presents the necessary knowledge to write a master thesis on a chosen topic,
- prepares a master thesis,
- delivers a presentation including the goals and hypotheses of thesis and the method of collecting data,
- prepares a master dissertation in accordance with the formal and substantive requirements.

Assessment criteria
The evaluation includes active participation in classes, preparation of a master thesis outline and presentation covering the topic of the thesis. The thesis preparation is also assessed in terms of formal and substantive aspects.

The literature depends on the chosen topic of the master thesis, selected individually for the subject of the master thesis dissertation
