I. Support in the process of choosing the thesis topic by introducing the following scope:
- Economic and business objectives, as well as work procedures of the enterprise,
- Modern information technologies and the possibilities of their innovative use in business,
- Use of IT tools in economics,
- Unstructured data analysis in economic research (Data Mining, Data Science, Text Mining),
- Basics of analysis and design of information systems,
- Basic aspects of IT project management,
- Possibilities of using multimedia technologies in business operations,
- The essence and significance of websites,
- Models and strategies of electronic business,
- Use of information technologies and innovative IT solutions in e-commerce economic practice,
- Business data analysis using modern IT tools.
II. Choosing a topic and discussing research skills. Presentation of formal and substantive requirements for the thesis and skills required in the field of public presentation.
III. Presentations of papers in scope of theses. Presentation of students' thesis outlines.

After completing the seminar, the student:
- presents the knowledge necessary to write a thesis on a chosen topic,
- prepares a thesis outline,
- gives a presentation on the goals and hypotheses of thesis and the method of gathering source data,
- prepares a thesis in accordance with formal and substantive requirements.

Assessment criteria
The evaluation includes active participation in classes, preparation of a thesis outline and presentation covering the scope of the thesis. The thesis preparation is also assessed in terms of formal and substantive aspects.
Bibliography
The literature depends on the chosen topic of the thesis, selected individually for each subject of the thesis.
