Learning outcomes
The seminar participant is expected to be independent in carrying out an analysis of the problem from an economic perspective manifesting his/her ability to formulate a research problem and making scientific hypotheses based on the economic theories. The result of the seminar is writing a good master's thesis and developing the skills of critical analysis of literature, searching for empirical data, constructing a study to empirically verify the hypotheses. An additional effect of the seminar is the ability to write a good academic paper in terms of formal and linguistic requirements.

- knows how to properly formulate a research problem and can formulate research hypotheses;
- can independently search, select and critically analyse the literature of the subject;
- has knowledge in the field of data acquisition techniques and their presentation;
- can acquire data and search for information necessary in the preparation of academic paper on a given topic using the Internet, library catalogs, etc.
- can use analytical tools and apply them to the analysis of a specific research problem;
