As part of the seminar will be discussed issues necessary for the proper preparation of bachelor's theses. The substantive issues of the seminar will focus on the following areas:
1. Real estate management:
- Investment location analysis
-Research of the real estate market (eg commercial real estate market in Warsaw)
- mortgage banking and mortgage bonds
-The activities of institutions in the real estate market
-Facility Management
- Real estate leasing
- Investment models for investing in real estate
- Trust accounts (escrow)
-Housing financing schemes
- Financial property management
- Real estate portfolio management
- Principles of a property management plan
2. Management of investment projects:
- Costs and benefits Analysis of investment projects
- Investment funds
- Investment projects assesment
- Location models and spatial management
- Investment financing methods
- Investment portfolio management
- Investment project management.

Learning outcomes
After completing the course, the student:
IN TERMS OF KNOWLEDGE:
• Knows the basic principles of conducting scientific research, as well as the structure and formal requirements of a bachelor’s thesis.
• Is familiar with basic research methods relevant to the discipline of economics and with the principles of selecting literature and data sources for a diploma thesis.
• Understands the role of research hypotheses, models, and data analysis methods in the process of preparing a diploma thesis.
IN TERMS OF SKILLS:
• Can formulate the topic, objective, and preliminary research questions or hypotheses of a diploma thesis.
• Can search for, select, and analyze relevant literature and collect the data necessary for completing the thesis.
• Can prepare a preliminary plan for the diploma thesis and begin developing selected parts of it.
IN TERMS OF COMPETENCIES:
• Is prepared for independent and systematic work on the diploma project, with respect for academic integrity and ethics.
• Is open to substantive feedback from the supervisor and seminar participants and is ready to critically evaluate their own progress

Assessment criteria
Completion of the seminar is based on a submitted and accepted BA thesis. It is allowed to extend the deadline for submitting the work in accordance with the study regulations. Students present the results of the work in the form of a paper.
