Quantitative Advanced Macroeconomics 2400-ENSM089B
The aim of the seminar is to familiarize the students with
numerical and computational methods of modeling selected
macroeconomic phenomena and to prepare them to be able
to write the master thesis. The thesis may base on the
applied use of one of the following quantitiative
macroeconomic models:
- General Equilibrium Models, including the models of
business cycles and overlapping generations.
- Search and matching model of the labor market.
- Models of wealth and income inequality.

macroeconomic analysis and the methods of acquiring
relevant data. Knows the limitations of the methods
presented at the seminar.

hypotheses, knows how to conduct research for the purposes
of preparing the master thesis. Knows how to work with the
literature and empirical data.
Knows the formal requirements for the master thesis.
SKILLS
