In the first semester of the seminar, students will be asked to state the topic of the thesis, they will get to know the technique of working skills, they will do their own research, read the recommended literature and the one selected by themselves with the consultation of the instructor, they will present the topic of the thesis together with the preliminarily formulated questions concerning the research, they will decide on research methods essential in finding solutions to particular problems.

Learning outcomes
Upon the seminar completion a student will have the knowledge of digital finance and economics. They will have the understanding of the nature of digital revolution in finance and economics, knowledge of key digital technologies and products, information about key digital business models, understanding of the customer behavior in digital environment, and state reaction to the digital revolution.
Assessment criteria
In the First semester (winter) students will choose the topics for their seminar and will be evaluated based on the work they present during the class. In the second (summer) semester, students are evaluated based on their performance in their theses. A credit for a class will be received on the basis of the initiative on the part of students, a presentation of a selected research topic that might be included in a thesis as well as on the preparation of the general synopsis of work and writing the first chapter of the thesis.
