(in Polish) Różnorodność i edukacja 2300-SD/RiE/2
During the course, students will acquaint themselves with the basic principles of methodology, they learn how research is planned and conducted as well as how to write a diploma thesis in an appropriate way. They will design and conduct their own research projects and presents the results in a diploma thesis.
Topics areas:
- difference, diversity, otherness in education
- inclusive education and supporting the development of marginalised individuals/groups
- educational programmes and activities related to diversity in education (social, cultural, ethnic etc.)
- stereotypes, prejudices, discrimination
- anti-discriminatory, intercultural, global education, education for sustainable development.
The first semester of the seminar is focused on the following tasks:
- Analysis of issues related to the topic of the seminar - based on the literature.
- Determination of the formal principles of writing a thesis.
- Formulation of the thesis topic and research problem.
- Development of a preliminary concept of the thesis.

- preparation of the BA thesis (continuous assessment of progress)
The final mark includes all the work within the seminar, including individual work at home or in the library.
In order to pass the course, students need to hand in an approved thesis within the prescribed time limit.
