Directional workshop 2300-S2-EAwD-WK
"The "directed workshop" is a practical subject that allows students to develop the competences necessary to conduct educational, animation and upbringing activities in various social and cultural contexts. Each semester, the subject offers various thematic workshops, including those in the area of visual arts, movement expression, sound, self-development or supporting activities.
The classes are designed to develop the ability to design and conduct workshops adapted to the needs of diverse groups - both children, youth and adults. An important role here is played by learning to recognize individual preferences for action, building contact, working in a group and searching for one's own tools and methods of work. Students learn to analyze the effectiveness of the actions taken, plan and evaluate their own workshop projects, and use good practices.
An important element of the workshops is also reflection on the role of the educator and animator in the process of supporting the development of workshop participants.
The classes are carried out in a practical form - through action, experience and reflection. Their aim is also to build readiness for independent design and conducting educational activities in future professional work. The targeted workshop develops key competences for a modern teacher and educator.
