MS2-Module Specialization 2: Art – Media - Education 2300-NZ2-MS2-ARM
During the particular modular classes there will be analyzed issues of understood broader relation between art - pedagogy / education. Students will be introduced to various types of artistic activities in the field of pedagogy and pedagogical activities in the field of art. The main methods of shaping media competences and modern means of media communication will also be analyzed. Artistic projects, which can be adaptive in the context of new media, will be shown.
The module consists of the following items:

Knowledge:
EKM01: student explains the educational potential of art and culture
EKM02: Student describes the relationship between various humanistic disciplines dealing with culture, art and education.
EKM03: student describes the assumptions of the theory of aesthetic education
EKM04: student uses terminology in the field of theory of aesthetic education
EKM05: student describes the basic assumptions of museum education
EKM06: student characterizes the educational potential of music
EKM07: student defines the basic concepts of communication, lists the element of the persuasive act and analyzes the rhetorical determinants in the communication process.
EKM08: student determines the range of competences needed to receive media messages and to use the media as intellectual tools of a modern man

EKM14: student conducts and presents critical analysis of media messages and aptly evaluates media's role in shaping social attitudes
EKM15: student carries out goals and selects appropriate content, methods and teaching forms in the field of media literacy
