MS4 - Specialization Module 4: Entrepreneurship inthe work of the trainer 2300-MS4-TKM
The module covers issues related to the development of entrepreneurial competences essential in training practice within the contemporary adult education services market. The thematic scope includes the functioning of the educational market, the dynamics of social trends, the issue of organizational learning, and the application of knowledge about changing social conditions in the design of educational activities. The module also includes the development of skills necessary for running one’s own educational business, such as: creating marketing strategies, designing promotional activities with consideration for sustainable development principles and professional presence in social media, as well as developing language competences in self-presentation and communication (in English).
An important component of the module is the trainer internship (30 hours), aimed at applying the acquired knowledge in a practical context of educational work with adults. The internship includes the independent implementation of planned educational activities in real organizational settings (e.g. training institutions, non-governmental organizations, training companies, educational institutions).
During the internship, it is possible to:
- conduct original workshop sessions on soft skills or topics aligned with the educational profile of the host institution,
- co-facilitate training and observe the work of experienced trainers,

Assessment criteria
Participation in the module examination is possible only after successfully completing all subjects included in the module.
The basis for passing the module is the preparation and presentation of an individual strategic project in one of the following two forms:
1. A description of the marketing strategy of an existing educational company,
2. A developed plan of a marketing strategy for a planned educational business.
Each component of the marketing strategy can receive a maximum of 3 points. Full credit (3 points) is awarded for original and well-founded analyses, along with proposed changes and innovations that reflect the dynamics of the contemporary educational market.
Assessment criteria:
- Company’s goal, mission, and vision – clearly formulated and logically consistent strategic foundations (goal, mission, and vision of the company), with appropriate alignment to current trends in the education sector and market needs.
- Identification of the target group(s) and their needs, with justification – indication of the intended recipients of the educational offer along with an analysis of their educational and social needs; justification based on market observation, data, or specific examples (additional points awarded for identifying educational niches or demographic trends).
- Description of the business environment (micro and macro levels) – SWOT analysis – the ability to formulate strategic conclusions based on the analysis and propose adaptations to changing market conditions.
- Description of offered/planned services and pricing structure – a well-thought-out pricing strategy (e.g. packages, discounts, subscriptions) aligned with the company profile and target audience expectations.
- Description of promotional activities, including social media – actual or planned promotional actions considering the most effective communication channels for reaching the target audience (e.g. advertising slogans, hashtags, or campaign ideas).
- Activities aimed at implementing social marketing – presentation of the company’s social values, sustainable development strategy, and aspects of corporate social responsibility.
- Additional credit may be awarded for the ability to integrate the educational strategy with the needs of local communities or disadvantaged groups.
