MS2 - Adult Learning Theories 2300-MS2-TKM-TUD
The aim of the course is to provide students with knowledge of adult learning theories, including biographical learning, situated learning, everyday learning, and transformative learning. The course also aims to support understanding of the learning process itself and the factors that influence adult educational motivation. In addition, students will develop the ability to apply theoretical concepts in the planning of workshop activities for adult learners.

2. Learning through experience – David Kolb’s theory
3. The 4MAT Model
4. The three dimensions of learning – Knud Illeris
5. Transformative learning theory – Jack Mezirow
6. Existential learning theory – Peter Jarvis
7. Biographical learning – Peter Alheit’s approach
