MS2 - Workshop design 2300-MS2-TKM-PZW
The aim of the course is to provide students with the knowledge and skills necessary to independently design workshop sessions, taking into account the stages of group development, the use of both safe and confrontational methods, as well as engaging instructional tools. Students will also be trained in developing detailed schedules and lesson plans for workshop sessions.
Topics covered during the course:
1. The stages of group development and their relevance to workshop design
2. The use of safe and confrontational methods in group development
3. Designing workshop sessions during the forming stage of group development
4. Designing workshop sessions during the storming (conflict) stage
5. Designing workshop sessions during the norming stage
6. Designing workshop sessions during the adjourning stage
7. Creating workshop schedules and lesson plans that align with defined objectives, effective and engaging instructional

Knowledge: The student
1. possesses structuralized knowledge of designing workshop, schedules and scripts

3. knows and understands the principles determining the preparation of a workshop

Abilities:
The student
1. is able to independently design workshops
2. is able to independently design schedules and scripts (subject: soft skills) including the group process
3. Is able to critically assess a methods, schedules and scripts, outlining its benefits and deficiencies
Social competencies: student
1. Effectively cooperates with the team involved in design workshops
2. Has a sense of responsibility for the executed organizational and diagnostic processes associated with the preparation of the workshops
Assessment criteria
The requirement for passing the course by students is successful preparation of a series of tasks.
Two absences are permitted in one semester.
